Leeds office workers have raised more than £16,000 to help children with life-limiting illnesses. The city office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) raked in the money for Martin House Children’s Hospice at Boston Spa. It will be spent on providing music therapy for youngsters and their families.
Julie Henderson, fundraiser at Martin House, said: “We are immensely grateful to PwC; we’ve been the chosen charity for the last two years and formed a great relationship with them. Their very kind donation goes towards the £4.2m a year we need to raise to keep Martin House running. Music therapy is one of the additional and very worthwhile services we offer, as it gives such a lot of fun and enjoyment to the children and their families during their stays with us.”
